Double Strollers?????

Having two children 19 months apart, I am realizing that I am going to have to break down and purchase a double stroller.  I am not really looking forward to this purchase, but it is going to be a necisity.  I have enough trouble getting around with a single stroller in most stores.  Ahhh.  I would like to purchase only one stroller this go around.  With Ryan I have collected 4, yes four strollers --- slightly excessive.

So here are a few strollers that I have been looking at - if you or someone you know has any recommendations please let me know!

Here are the contenders so far.

First up Baby Jogger's City Mini Double -

Slightly pricey.  Quickly folds down to almost flat.  Has an adapter for an infant seat.  Side-by-side which will make shopping challenging.  Great canopies for outdoor activity.   Wheels more suited for various terrains.

Next up Chicco Trevi Twin Stroller.

Folds very compactly.  Seats recline fully.  Lightweight.  Comes in a variety of cute colors.  Gets really good reviews (as do the other two).

Finally - Baby Trend Sit n Stand

Accommodates infant seat.  Only one with a snack tray for child on front.  Lightweight.  Not sure if Ryan will be ready for a bench seat with seat belt or if he will still want to relax in the stroller from time to time.  Not sure how it will hold up on neighborhood walks and off-road type conditions.

Of course I have no personal experience in this at all, but I have heard that if you can get a double stroller where the kids face each other it can be helpful when they get a bit older as they will entertain each other.

Omg I have the phil and teds and I love it!! My boys are 18 Months apart and it has been a blessing!! We could not do like have of the activities we do by ourselfs with out it. This is my fourth double stroller I have owned. It is by far my favorite. I have sold the ones I don't like at consignment sales. I used the douoglider when Ben was really small. http://anickellforyourthoughts.blogspot.com/2009/02/i-am-in-love-with-my-new-stroller.html
