Play Ball

Yesterday I sat up a baseball tee for the boys.  They had the best time.  While they were having fun, I was rediscovering my love for my camera.  :)  I can't wait for the boys to play baseball.  They don't know it yet, but baseball is the one sport that I will force them to try.  I think there are many, many life lessons one can learn on a baseball (or softball) field.  I won't force my kids to enjoy the sport, but I will make them try it...at least for a season or two.  :)

he was so excited

gosh he's cute...

the look on his face is priceless

whoops..gotta keep those eyes open.  :)

and another miss...

maybe I'll try the other side of the plate

considering I was holding a baby and a camera --
I will accept the fact that half of these are out of focus.

photo session

My almost 4-year old loves to use my big, huge, heavy, professional camera.  It makes me incredibly nervous since he, like most young boys, is a bit like a bull in a china shop.  I told him he could take our picture as long as he was on the carpet (hardwoods are not so friendly to cameras when they are dropped).  The carpeted areas of the house aren't the most wonderful for lighting or backgrounds but that doesn't matter to me.  My little boy captured some great pictures.  They are rare pictures of me and my sweet little girl!!!  These photos are proof that it is so important to get out from behind the camera and get into the pictures with your kids!!  Embrace that camera Moms!!!

woohhoo!!!

several pics were like this...I love that they tell a story though
