Today my sweet Ryan turned 15 months old. How did we celebrate? By spending almost 9 hours in the car. ICK! Ryan was a total trooper and handled it very well. Let's just say that traffic was a nightmare coming back from the beach.
This month Ryan has gotten 2 more teeth (we are now up to 6), he has learned to say "teeth" and can show you where they are, can point out his toes, head, fingers and sometimes his nose. Tonight when we were at the grocery store he kept saying "Nanana" and pointing to the basket (we had a bunch of bananas in there and he LOVES bananas). Ryan has also learned to say "doh" and put his hand on his head (as pictured below). Don't worry --- he is not watching the Simpsons --- he won't even sit still for 2 minutes during a tv program. He is more inclined to hunt down the remote and change the channel than he is to watch any sort of television. Ryan has also learned to stand up on his own, run and dance!!!
It is incredible to see how much Ryan has changed in such a short period of time. His personality is coming out more and more each day. He loves to laugh...loudly. He loves to share and say thank you (so sweet). He is such a joy and is going to be a wonderful big brother.
this morning before we left the beach ---
