Today we ventured to Washington, DC for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival. It was a good thing we went today because some of the trees were starting to get leaves. It seems as though a lot of other people thought it was a good idea to head to the Festival today as well as it was very crowded. The weather was beautiful! Ryan got to ride the Metro for the first time. He was very interested in the train.
We had a great time in DC! After we checked out the cherry blossoms we found a spot to sit and have lunch on the Mall. Ryan loved people watching. He was extremely fascinated with some little girls flying a kite nearby.
